Did not initialize, support refused to address possible application failure.

I spent an evening troubleshooting this application because it would not initialize upon boot. Console log indicated that the application could not rectify the system font. Upon suggestion from the CARROT’s support, I removed all non-system fonts and assured that I don’t have a third-party font manager. The next solution was to wipe my disk. That’s it. It’s either another developer’s fault or mine. They sent me to Apple’s refunding protocol, but didn’t bother to look into their own source code because they could not find “a common cause”.

The iOS version is a nice enough application: the humor is pleasantly macabre and the forecast is not erroneous. That’s not to say it’s the most accurate forecaster ever, but at least it’s not wrong. However, despite how cordial their support is, they’re pretty unknowlegdable.
